Concept & Objective
The objective was to empower creators through atmosphere no clutter, no distraction. Every decision from steel angles to light orientation was made to protect artistic flow. A workspace that inspires not through luxury, but through radical clarity.
Sculpture, Light & Shadow
Inspired by Donald Judd’s studios and the brutalist ethos, we designed with restraint. The absence of color becomes expressive. It’s not about sterility it’s about intensity, allowing art to take center stage in a space that dares to be quiet.
A cutting-edge art studio.
This adaptive reuse project transformed a former printing factory into a cutting-edge art studio. Raw concrete, blackened steel, and matte finishes define a space that encourages focused making. Aurore Collective needed silence, strength, and mood a bold setting for their sculptural, material-heavy work.
Acoustics were treated with precision. Daylight enters through calibrated roof slots and diffused glass blocks. Storage and working areas are modular, allowing space to shift with creative needs. The result is a black-box sanctuary for deep creation, every line intentional and crisp.
